Life

His Home

Jaesu's home is a castle like mansion spread over a handful of acres just outside of Seoul in the Pyeongchang-dong district. The sprawling estate houses an aviary, a stable, two complete kitchens, a fully equipped library, a home office, multiple dens and bedrooms, many bathroms, an indoor pool, an underground garage and an underground wine cellar. He also keeps a rather colorful garden for the majority of the year, part of which joined the aviary, that is taken care of by staff he trusts the most. Within the garden is a monument for Jangmi, his departed fiance, may her soul rest in peace. While Jaesu usually keeps to himself, allowing the cupid into his home has truly been one of the most life changing experiences he's ever had, positive, at least.

His Vehicle

Jaesu does have to admit that he is a bit vain. This comes with the turf of owning any Genesis car, though the G90 is pretty flashy on it's own. It is a luxery vehicle, and he takes good care of it, but he's not necessarily a purveyor of cars. This is usually reserved for his horses instead. He doesn't mind too much if someone poses to take a picture with his vehicle, but he does rather get a kick out of starting it or setting off the alarm every once in a while.

Park Secure Tech

Jaesu's pride and joy; Park Secure Tech started over 70 years ago, first as simple alarms and cameras. Since then, with expanding technological advancements, he's created quite the system for his customers. He has secured Military contracts, helping to create the most state of the art weapons and systems for them as well, but finds his work most rewarding when he can bring a sense of security to his regular, every day customers. In 2025 he announced the soft launch of his AI companion Evie, who will soon be taking the market by storm in 2026.

HISTORY

THEN0221 BCE, The Qin Dynasty took over power in what is now known as Korea. Back then Vampires were more keen to keep their identities hidden, and the family in which Sujin was born into was no different. He was taught from a very young age how to blend in, to hide, to be one with the mortals around them. He even attended the same schools as mortal boys, and learned leather working as a trade. When Sujin turned 22, he met who he considered to be the love of his life. She had long, silken hair, eyes as dark as night. She smelled like cherry blossoms, and wore vibrant colors that reminded him of spring.He was due to propose to her, his family doing well enough now that he could pay the price for her hand. He gained approval from her family, and promised himself to her, the two due to wed in the following Spring. However, as Fall changed to Winter, a new enemy approached, and waged war on his land. The Qin Dynasty Emperor commanded that all men take up arms. He was called to duty, but days before, they were to wed. It didn't get that far, though, because while they walked the markets, a band of warriors came through the village, burning and pillaging. She fell to an arrow, which Sujin attempted to remove to help her. He didn't realize it only made it worse.As she died in his arms, his name was whispered on her last breath, and he promised it would be the last time anyone said his true name. The loss of his betrothed led him into a frenzied madness, and he became the destroyer on the battlefield, able to carry out fantastical things that his troop partners could only hear in mythical stories. He seemed like he was in a bloodlust, and feasted on the dying as he flew across battlefields.In the end, they were victorious. But word got around of his behavior on the battlefield, and he was chased into exile for being the monster he was. He crept in the shadows for many many years, too many to count, before he decided to make something of himself. His love... she would weep if she could see him. And as his anger died down into purpose, Sujin emerged as Park Jaesu. When he allowed himself to return to the modern world, he immersed himself into educating himself with technological advancements. It soon set a spark in his heart and a fire under him and he searched ways to enhance technology on his own, especially how it relates to defense. It took several decades, but Park Secure Tech was emerged into the industry and has taken it by storm. His security company is responsible for military level technology, as well as systems that go in businesses and homes. Park Secure Tech makes more than enough to provide a lavish lifestyle, and he's stepping out into this new, modern world with hope renewed. That he doesn't have to be the monster he was before, that he doesn't have to hide in the darkness.That maybe... maybe he can live on.NOWOutside of the Shadows and a part of the modern world, Jaesu is slowly finding his place. Sometimes this comes with downsides, as people are often fickle and hard to pin down. But most often Jaesu finds himself surrounded by people he enjoys the company of. In lieu of these changes he's made, he has taken on being a master more fully, supporting a precious Cupid named Winnie. Slowly but surely the cupid has crept into his heart, and his home, and changed his whole world. Jaesu protects the cupid diligently, and finds himself craving more and more of the sweet being as his days with him go on. With his company making one of it's biggest launches in 2026, Jaesu feels like he's got the best of the best in his life.What could possibly go wrong?

  • Friendly Connections: Jaesu is very social, and is always looking to make connections, both outside of work and within his work environment. He's not too picky, but after 2000 years of life, he is slightly wary and will measure you before he hands himself over to friendship.

  • Enemy Connections: Jaesu is a force to be reckoned with should you cross a line, and he can be rather deadly should you not heed the warnings. Beware of getting on the bad side of any Daywalker, but especially one with the training to take you apart piece by piece and the natural ability to do so.

  • The one with my heart: This is reserved for Winnie, the precious cupid who so easily slipped through his carefully guarded defenses and right into the center of his heart.
